Recently, China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI) announced that aimed at promoting China's SOA standards development and implementation of the "SOA standardization of the International Forum" would be held November 5-6 in Beijing. The forum is organized by the China Electronics Standardization Institute and foreign organizations, such as W3C, OASIS, WS-I, and reveived support from Primeton, TongTech, Chinasoft International,Inspur,Shanghai Baosight Software, Kingdee Middleware, Digital China, Microsoft, IBM, Hitachi, SUN, and other domestic and international companies. It would be the most authoritative and influential in SOA standards-setting, and the most Companies involved forum event. The Forum will focus on China SOA Application and Standardization, and publish the "SOA User's Guide" which is drafted by Internet standard open laboratory (ISOL) combined 15 domestic and international companies joint development. The book clarifies the concept of SOA from the users point of view, combination of domestic finance, telecommunications, tobacco, health care, public services and other SOA Industry Case Analysis, and allow users to understand the implementation of the SOA in various sectors as a supplement to the decision-making. In addition, Primeton, TongTech, Microsoft, IBM, and other manufacturers of high-level, will also introduce the latest developments of their own SOA research and implementation.
Recently SOA has become the main idea of the construction of IT system. Main domestic software manufacturers pay special efforts on offering SOA products and solutions. The application of SOA in every industry has become more an more. The most significant feature of SOA is its focus on standards.
But SOA standards in international are in chaos. Relative SOA standards have been made in several foreign associations. There is still a certain way to go for the consistent SOA standard. The state SOA standard system has formed in our country in 2007, which was committed by ISOL of CESI. In our country SOA standard system will be built based on the domestic industry and users’ requirement. We will make the standards ourselves but also combine with international standards. Nowadays, ISOL has worked out primary outline of the state SOA standard system in out country together with several other domestic units. There will be the detail and the research and built stage for the next step. The formation and promotion of China SOA standard will show deep meaning on clarifying the concept of SOA, norm of SOA industry in our country, promoting the applicable quality of SOA, advancing the independent innovation and development of domestic SOA software. During promoting the China SOA standardization, ISOL has been submitted our SOA standard research "SOA standards V1.0"，as a proposal to the International Organization of Standardization (ISO / IEC JTC1 WSSG), and participated in the 2nd session of WSSG on behalf of the members of our national body. China's SOA standards work has been caused major repercussions in the ISO and other organizations. In the following, China will work with international organizations to continue close communication and co-operation, contribute our results of the SOA work to the JTC1 timely, and promote the formation of international standards. |
